Digby Rat Rally

A five day visit to my friends in Digby Nova Scotia at the time of the annual motorbike rally (of which they are an integral part of its organization) was memorable.

One of the highlights of this annual event is various rides around the beautiful landscape. We participated in the Acadian Shore Poker Run through the Municipality of Clare.

Gassing up at start of ride with Dave. Me decked out at Maud Lewis Memorial site.

Varied ride with lots of shoreline and little Acadian villages.

Right: largest wooden church in North America: Église Saint-Marie.

Walked Mia down to Point Prim where the first lighthouse was a bonfire and a musket shot. Joined by a group of riders from Newfoundland. Later attended a local biker neighbour friend’s wedding reception.

Bikes start rolling in on Thursday.

Away from it all at Lauren’s residence. ¡ Que bellísima la vista!
