Coastal South – Tangalle

Second stop, 5 nights. Favourite spot so far with it’s wonderful beaches and charming beach village atmosphere.

Tangelle has been a fishing hub for centuries with its wide harbour and protective coral reef.

Fisherman haul in their nets
Fishing boats brightly painted and decorated
Our path and view to lots of restaurants and services (massages)
View from BV Residence, a great accommodation choice
Children’s playground of our past (note the teeter-totter). Kids playing cricket sharing field.
Hanging out at a town temple
Handsome dude, bus at local beach
Silent Beach- three visits. Our Carizalillo replacement (Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico) No crowds, or hijacked prices.
Boat launched way up from shore as a result of tsunami (2024)
Not a lot of Canadians here so this was curious!
