Oaxaca… Again

First Stop

Back to a bit of travel. Not terribly original but in this COVID world a repeat of favourite spots is fine. Besides my side-kick, Diane, aka Ariana, has not been to Oaxaca.

First stop Huatulco. This time stayed in Playa Santa Cruz de Huatulco. The community is clearly recovering from two weeks of Mexican holidays.

Christmas not over here

Highlights are two beaches, playa Cacaluta (need transportation) and playa Orgáno walkable from Santa Cruz.

You can also walk to La Crucicito de Huatulco from Santa Cruz de Huatulco via a fairly recent broad walkway. Walking does not seem to be a favourite pastime for most Mexicans though.

Our favourite meal was at Rocoto. Nomi Hotel next door had a great upstairs patio restaurant but food so- so

Our BnB hosts Nacho and Gabrielle at their home,Tejoncito, were terrific. Without them we would have never found the best beaches!

  2. Muy divertida. Still trying to move back aboard Amiga…a boat gets pretty woebegone after seven months in a boatyard! Mucho polvo, al dentro y fuera??
