Udawalawa National Park

We head out on safari at 5:30 a.m. to Udawalawa Naional Park known for its elephants and birds.

Reflections
Commotion when male decides to steal and eat someone’s plastic bag with snacks (hopefully) out of a landrover.

Lots of water buffalo and three types of monkeys, two endemic to Sri Lanka
The resevoir was created in 1972 and the park after that to protect the area, including displaced wildlife.
