PEI Cycling Day 4 and 5

Day 4 starts with a bit of rain that clears up quickly.

We are transported back to where we left off in O’Leary after spending the night in Tignish and head north.

Some trail but mostly seaside road views
After two and a half hours we arrive at the Stompin Tom centre where we have very good seafood chowder and wait for the entertainment.

Regular guy was off but the substitute give us an hour of local country music with many tunes of Stompin Tom

Seacows do not exist in PEI.

They are warm water animals. But the name was used by early settlers to describe walruses which became extinct due to over hunting by the mid 1800s.

Back at our Inn we pick up the car and head to the Potato Museum.

DAY 5 clear, bright, windy

Most dramatic scenary of trip so far.

Back on our bikes we head to Grace’s friend’s cottage on the coast near Tignish:
